How to plant strawberries
Strawberry plants produce fruit for up to three years and in warm climates can crop year-round. Feed with sulphate of potash in late winter and cover with netting to protect berries from birds getting to the fruit before harvesting.

Lay a sheet of plastic ( From refuse bag or grocery bags) cut a small hole or cross big enough and plant the strawberry in the hole. I did it with lettuce. You get a lovely clean plant without messy leaves at the bottom. |
