Penne with sugar snap peas and smoked salmon

375g penne or ziti
500g sugar snap peas or snow peas, strings removed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
3 spring onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
125g smoked salmon, slivered
Freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
1. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water according to the packet directions, until firm-tender. Add the peas to the water during the final 1 minute of cooking; drain.
2. Meanwhile, combine the dill, spring onions, oil, lemon zest and lemon juice in a large bowl. Add the hot pasta and the peas, tossing well. Add the smoked salmon and a good grinding of pepper, then toss again.
