Before Photo: Handyman

We were very happy to see the yellow benchtops removed then we knocked out a wall and modified the bulkhead above the oven.

White laminate surfaces were chosen to keep the small space feeling light and airy. A cabinetmaker built the cupboards to our design
then I installed them.

I jack-hammered the slate and installed a floating floor that looks so good guests ask if it’s real timber.

We came in under our budget so we lashed out on buying quality appliances and whitegoods. Now we can sit back and enjoy it with
our three-month-old daughter.

AFTER
We called in an electrician and plumber while I did the plastering, tiling and painting, which took a month to complete.
